What is a Mopacfan?
Mopac is the abbreviation for Missouri Pacific Railroad. I grew up in Glendale, MO and was privileged to live near the Mopac tracks that ran through Kirkwood. As a boy, I always loved watching the Jenks Blue locomotives rolling through town and running over the Carondolet Subdivision. Only the mainline is still active under the Union Pacific, but the memories will last forever.
